- Neither Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates have comments on the new switch-a-roo, but I think we can expect something before the day is over.
- Techie's Feedback : Congratulation Jeff Bezos but i want to say please stop fighting from Flipkart in India and be nice to an Indian origin company. Don't use your money power so much.

- It is the first time the smartphone markte of the India had contracted.

-
Samsung, Xiaomi and Vivo continue to be the primary winners, with the South Korean giant leading the market, with a 25 percent market share.
- With China suffering its own decline this quarter, India is a market of huge strategic importance to Chinese smartphone vendors,” said Canalys Research Analyst Ishan Dutt

4. Snapdeal Deal Done with Free recharge:
Sources told TOI that Amazon had in fact placed a higher bid for FreeCharge, however the Snapdeal-owned payments platform opted for the Axis Bank offer. For Axis Bank, the acquisition will give it a good chance to have a strong play in the consumer focussed digital payments space.
- The board of Axis Bank has entered into a share purchase agreement with Jaspers Infotech Private Limited which runs Snapdeal to buy 100 percent stake in its payments subsidiary Freecharge in an all-cash deal worth Rs 385 crore, Axis Bank informed the BSE in a statement.

- The cut-price deal marks a significant erosion of value for FreeCharge which was acquired for $400 million or Rs 2,500 crore (at current exchange rate). back in 2015 by the Gurgaon-based online marketplace to shore up its online payments play. At the time, it was touted as the largest deal in the then nascent start-up ecosystem in India.

- AMD’s Ryzen 3 processors — the budget, low-end of its resurgent Ryzen brand — are out today, and we’ve finally got pricing details. For now, AMD is offering two Ryzen 3 chips: the base Ryzen 3 1200 for $109, and the more powerful Ryzen 3 1300X for $129.
6. Twitter's Bad Day :
- Twitter reported Thursday that its monthly user base in the U.S. declined to 68 million in the most recent quarter from 70 million in the previous quarter.
- That stock dive is really a reevaluation of the company’s future success, but it certainly doesn’t help it in the short term.
- To counter that obsession on MAUs, Twitter has started to emphasize its growth in its daily active users.

- Its global user base was 328 million, unchanged from the prior quarter. Analysts had been expecting Twitter to add at least a few million users.
